School Visits
The Cathedral is also a rich resource for subject areas other than Religious Education - art, technology and design; mathematics; geology and local history. School visits by groups of students are welcome (KS2 and above). Teachers should prepare their own programme and resource materials using information from this site and by meeting with one of our volunteer stewards who is now is now retired from teaching! Where possible clergy will make themselves available for a short session with the group. Visiting school groups will be staffed by the school in accord with Education and Library Board requirements. The Cathedral Hall can be made available for groups bring pre-packed lunches.
