Welcome to the web site of Belfast Cathedral. We hope you will enjoy discovering more about the Cathedral Church of St Anne and the activities of the faith community which worships here.
ACCESS TO THE CATHEDRAL
The Cathedral is open to visitors from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on weekdays and for a short period before and after services on Sundays.
Access to the Cathedral is available to the physically challenged. Both the exterior and interior is equipped with ramps. There is a rest room facility and a lift to the lower floor of the Cathedral Centre. There is also access to the sanctuary which enables full participation in the Eucharist. Designated seating can easily be removed to enable wheelchair users to sit with their friends in the congregation.

WORSHIP SCHEDULE
There is a daily Prayer Service, Monday - Saturday, at 1.00pm. On Wednesdays, Feast and Saints’ days there is a celebration of the Eucharist at 1.00pm. There are services of healing most Monday evenings at 8.00 pm and on Fridays at 1.00 pm.
Our Sunday schedule is Eucharist 10.00 am; Choral Eucharist at 11.00 am; and Evensong or a service for a community group, cause or charity at 3.30 pm. Free parking is available in the Cathedral precincts for those attending Sunday worship. On weekdays, public parking is available very close to the Cathedral.

DAIRY
A diary of events is available on the site. This is organised on a weekly basis for the current month and thereafter on a monthly basis to the end of the current year. Major festivals, services and events arranged for future years are also online.
NEWS
As well as specific news reports this section gives news of the week’s services and events including the music for the following Sunday's service. in addition the online edition of “The Cathedral Digest” - the monthly magazine - is published. It contains an article by the Dean, news of the members of the Cathedral Community and of those who are the focus of our prayers.

Contact phone numbers to staff and various Cathedral groups together with guidelines for those wishing to arrange, baptisms, marriages or to have a service hosted in the Cathedral for an organisation or community group.
MUSIC
Belfast Cathedral aims to be a centre of excellence in Anglican Choral Music. This section carries details of the Choir, the Choristers, the Youth Choir, Scholarships available, the organ, a directory of former choristers and choir members. An archive of records of past organists, recordings and tours is maintained.

This section of the site seeks to help individuals grow in their Christian faith.

HERITAGE
Time lines of the building and events in the city, Ireland and the world for most years since the 1750ies. Records of the Vicars, Deans and Clergy. The Book of Witnesses records the generosity of donors to the Cathedral and the service of individuals. Records of war memorials in the Cathedral, Cathedral records and various publications about the Cathedral are listed. These will be quite extensive - and the Book of Witnesses will be an area which grows.
SUPPORTERS
This section outlines the various ways in which you can support the Cathedral and its Christmas Sitout for Charities. Details of the friends of Belfast Cathedral and the Choir Association together with a donor response may be found here.
